There’s just something about New Orleans that gets into my soul...
...in the best, most deliciously seductive kind of way.
Ever since my first visit, I knew the city would keep drawing me back for more.
Maybe it’s the music drifting through the air at golden hour, or the way the city hums with history, mystery, and just the right touch of mischief.
Between the women in the French Quarter offering to pull a glimpse of your future from the wear of your palms, and the ability to dance down Bourbon Street without an excuse or a sideways glance, I’ve fallen head over heels for this magical place.
The food, the charm, the beautiful courtyards, it all makes me dream of exploring it hand-in-hand with someone who makes my heart race.
So, I’ve compiled a little list of dreamy hotels, mouthwatering restaurants, and fun adventures I’d love to experience with a lover by my side.

Hotels
This place is dripping in sultry Parisian vibes. Think: velvet furniture, moody lighting, and the kind of chic charm that makes you want to stay in just as much as go out.
I’ve also heard it’s a longtime favorite of touring artists, professional athletes, etc. for being more low profile and private, let’s see for ourselves?
The Roosevelt is where old-school glamour and Southern charm meet, and I am obsessed with their vintage Hollywood vibe. The lobby is beyond gorgeous (yes, I might ask you to snap a picture of me for Twitter.)
Plus, the Waldorf Astoria Spa is now offering their new self-guided recovery and wellness experiences!
Sophistication? Check.
Spa treatments to spoil us? Double check.
Live jazz floating through the air while we sip Champagne and forget the rest of the world exists? Um, triple check.
It’s polished, posh, and just the right amount of indulgent.
Modern luxury meets jaw-dropping river views, and let’s just say… if we stayed here, we might not leave.
The rooms are sleek and sexy (just like you in that button-down), and the rooftop pool is practically begging for a sunset swim with a little champagne toast.
And yes, there’s a spa- because you deserve to be pampered too.
Food
Maypop offers a locally-sourced twist to classic Southern-Asian dishes. Nước Mắm Caramel Glazed Pork Shoulder? Yes, please.

Jazz Brunch at Commander’s Palace, a Garden District icon since 1893 that offers the quintessential New Orleans experience and Creole cuisine.
Or, we could simply stop for crepes, quiche, and coffee at their cafe & shop next door, Le Petit Bleu.
A chic steakhouse in the French Quarter, blending refined settings with traditional Louisiana seafood.
Cane & Table evokes an old Havana charm with their seasonally-driven menu that melds Caribbean and Cuban flavors with Southern culinary traditions.
Experiences
Explore the Botanical Garden at New Orleans City Park (if you know me at all, this should be obvious.)

New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival. Santana! Tems! Luke Combs! Cage the Elephant! Me swaying my hips in a dangerously short skirt!
Need I say more???
Occurs annually, first week of May. Book now for 2026!
Let’s wander about the New Orleans Museum of Art & Sculpture Garden!
It’s the perfect excuse to slow down, get lost in art (and each other), and maybe steal a little kiss in between the statues.
So if you’ve been craving something indulgent and a little out of the ordinary, consider this your sign.
A getaway to New Orleans with me isn’t just about the beignets and jazz (though there’ll be plenty of both!), it’s about letting go, soaking up every delicious moment, and rediscovering what it feels like to be totally present with someone who’s very into making sure you’re having an unforgettable time.
You deserve to treat yourself.
